Started in 2000, the Snowball annual ski event involves a group of professional people de-camping to a five-star ski resort to share knowledge, search for ideas and answers but most importantly, escape the structures and pressure placed upon them by their jobs. The results have been life changing. What started out as a small group of friends passionate about tech and skiing, has grown into a powerful community of well-connected, inspirational thought leaders, on a course to change the world.
On behalf of the organisers, Forgather, Momentum Ski coordinates the logistics, planning and execution for this invitation-only event for tech entrepreneurs, investors and business leaders in the Alps – a partnership of more than 15 years.
A 4 day event, Snowball involves lunches, dinners and après ski drinks at some of the best Alpine spots, interspersed with thought-provoking discussions hosted by members of the group. These activities are carefully designed to bring everyone together to exchange ideas and make meaningful connections. Alternative activities to skiing are also arranged, from husky dog racing to wine tasting.
