Momentum Ski were employed by the BBC to provide accommodation and expert local logistical support during the 2006 Winter Olympics for their base in Sestriere – the main venue during the Games, hosting all the men’s alpine skiing competitions and being the site of one of the three Olympic Villages.
Momentum Ski were involved in the production of a full series of BBC’s popular television programme, Ski Sunday. We looked after all the local logistics required, including sourcing locations, support for filming and the celebrity giant slalom ski race.
The BBC made the most of our unrivalled local knowledge and logistical expertise to film a heli-skiing feature on the Monterosa in Italy, using Gressoney as their base to access the highest heli-skiing drop in Europe.
Momentum supplied the logistics, event planning and ground support for the global launch of the Martini Gold by Dolce & Gabbana TV commercial starring Monica Bellucci, filmed in Rome.
One of our first filming projects; we organised a Jacques Villeneuve shoot, on behalf of Lucky Strike BAR Honda Formula One Racing. The shoot took place on the ski slopes of Courmayeur.
Building on the success of our Mountain Gourmet Ski Experience, we were inspired to create a similar programme for cycling enthusiasts in Crans Montana. We took a handful of journalists to discover some amazing road cycling routes amongst the vineyards and mountains of the scenery-rich Valais region, before testing their limits at the final part of Stage 17 of the Tour de France 2016, the legendary Finhaut-Emosson climb. All paired with mountain lunches and unforgettable gourmet dinners, across three days – a flexible programme that we can design to fit your needs.
