Located right opposite the train station in the centre of the village. The classic, grand, Belle Epoque styling remains on the outside of the hotel while recent contemporary renovations inside have given a stylish quirky feel while still maintaining many original features in the public areas. The impressive main hall is home to a lovely relaxing bar and next door, but also part of the hotel, is the Yucatan restaurant and bar. The rooms are nonetheless quiet, carrying on the quirky contemporary styling.
Located in the centre of Engelberg and one of the resorts larger, more modern hotels. Very efficiently run. It has an indoor pool and spa with steam bath and sauna and there are two restaurants – one Italian and one serving traditional Swiss cuisine.
A large, attractively striking hotel set in a dominant raised position, with great views across the village and a private lift for guests which takes you down to resort level. Well suited to groups as well as individuals, they offer everything from B&B to a great value all inclusive package with ski passes, lunch on the mountain and dinner with drinks. There is a great bar and extensive public areas to relax in. Being owned by the lift company means the inclusive lift pass rates we can offer are amazing value.
The Ski Lodge is a lovely boutique style hotel founded in 2008 by a team of dedicated powder hounds – run by skiers for skiers. Every room is individually decorated with ultra cool deco and vintage ski memorabillia. There is a surprisingly high end restaurant and the bar is popular in its own right. Well located both for the village and the lifts.
As the name suggests this hotel can be found right in the heart of the village close to the train station and the resorts bars, restaurants and shops.
Positioned right in the heart of the resort this is an attractive example of Engelberg’s original Belle Epoque architecture. The rooms are modern in style and there is a more traditional alpine stubli restaurant popular for fondues and traditional Swiss cuisine.
If you are looking for a great location and some wellness facilities, while keeping within a reasonable budget, this is the hotel for you.
