One of our absolute favourites! A stunning modern hotel in a commanding position, with phenomenal panoramic views and a superb combination of luxury and attentive yet relaxed and friendly service. The Cry d'Er cable car is 150m away and you can ski almost back to the door. The large stylish bar and panoramic terrace are destinations in their own right and the food in the restaurant is of a very high standard. The beautiful 1,300 m² spa has all the features you would expect including a large indoor pool with stunning views.
One of the most charming and romantic boutique ‘Relais and Chateaux’ hotels in the Alps. A bear theme runs throughout the hotel, whilst huge oak beams, carved ceilings and painted furniture create a homely chalet feel. The suites have open fireplaces, Jacuzzis and stunning views of the mountain peaks. Try the 1 Michelin Star L’Ours restaurant or the Bistrot des Ours: both showcase the best of the local flavours and the chef Frank Reynaud also runs the wonderful Cabannes des Violettes on the mountain.
Nestled in the trees above the Montana side is this collection of beautiful chalets, sitting above Roger Moore’s mountain home no less! They are ski in ski out and right by the Barzettes Gondola. Above and beyond service in 5 boutique homes, with in house chefs, chauffeurs and anything else you want. A perfect combination of tasteful Alpine luxury interior and state of the art modernity and most have private spas and Jacuzzis.
A very beautiful retreat hotel, set up high above the main Crans resort, with amazing views across the valley. The 15 suites and prestige apartments are all individually designed and wonderfully comfortable. Your every need will be catered for, from private chauffeurs to being waited on in the super slick spa and indoor pool. You can ski almost to the door.
Excellent centrally located, innovative 5* hotel. Contemporary yet characterised by an Alpine style with some of the most hi-tech, user-friendly in-room gadgetry. It’s a beautiful, cosy owner-run hotel with 25 rooms and suites. Staff are highly professional, attentive, discrete and will go out of their way to ensure a fabulous stay. In Ristorante Giardino they have one of Crans Montana’s finest restaurants specializing in contemporary Italian cuisine.
Recently renovated, the Royal offers a lovely welcoming reception area looking over the mountains. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and smartly decorated. Service is friendly and professional and there is a lovely spa area and indoor pool. A stones throw from the town, has a great bar and lounge, as well as restaurant – all offered in a non showy way.
We like this hotel a lot. It has a lovely welcoming entrance and pretty painted frontage. The view from the bar is spectacular, ask for a south facing room with balcony to soak in the vista. They have a mixture of traditional and more contemporary style rooms. There is a relaxing large indoor to outdoor pool and a pampering spa area.
Perfect for families. Fantastic views across the Rhone Valley and every type of accommodation you could want – from self-catered apartments and suites but still with the option of half board, to standard and single rooms. Clean, spacious and comfortable, some would say even retro in design – it certainly adds to a great and friendly all round experience of stay. It offers a large indoor pool to boot and underground parking.
Art de Vivre is a modern hotel located in the heart of Crans. The hotel’s magnificent terrace with unobstructed views of the Alps is a great spot to unwind after a day on the mountain, alternatively, the hotel has a good spa with indoor pool, outdoor hot-tub, steam baths and saunas and the restaurant is very good!
The Valaisia is a real gem. Why? Perfect location right by the Signal gondola. It’s a great value 3* with its own indoor swimming pool and small spa. The hotel is walking distance to the resort's après-ski and you have the option of B&B or Half Board. What more would you need, for a long weekend or short break.
Personal and friendly service from Didier and Lucy who will be on reception one minute then driving you to the slopes the next! It really is a home away from home and a great little place to stay. The rooms are charming and comfortable and the location convenient.
