Hotel Val de Neu

Baqueira’s luxury option. Styling is modern but alpine with lots of natural wood and stone and atmospheric open fire places. There is a range of room options and a choice of restaurants including one specifically for children. The hotel is part of the newer, more attractive development of buildings all very conveniently linked at the lower level by a covered promenade offering great access to the telecabine extension that takes you from the main resort level straight into the heart of the ski area. Access to the lovely extensive spa is at daily supplement payable locally.

Chalet Val de Ruda

Charming traditional chalet style hotel unique in Baqueira - think cosy woody finish, romantic open fires and very friendly staff in traditional local dress. There is also a lovely spa. The hotel has a variety of rooms, all individually furnished with lots of exposed wood and traditional touches. Due to the classic styling of the building many rooms are under eaves. It is just 250m to the closest ski lift. The hot chocolate stand at the entrance for returning skiers was a lovely touch on our last visit!

Hotel Himalaia

A smart option that is part of the newer, more attractive development of buildings all very conveniently linked at the lower level by a covered promenade offering great access to the telecabine extension that takes you from the main resort level straight into the heart of the ski area. Beyond the name, the hotel also has a Nepalese theme that continues throughout, creating a calm and welcoming atmosphere. The breakfast buffet is excellent with both Spanish and more international options. There is a nice lobby bar and half board restaurant and a late night drinking bar at the bottom level. There is also a lovely spa but this is at an additional daily cost.

Hotel Montarto

Eighties concrete on the outside but this large hotel has recently been refurbished internally with stylish modern communal areas and a choice of bars and restaurants. There is a good size swimming pool and a smart separate spa (for which there is an additional charge). The standard rooms are modern and functional but on the small side but there are larger options available. The hotel is in the centre of the resort just 400 metres from the main lift and slopes.

Hotel Tuc Blanc

Brilliant location 20m from the foot of the slopes and the main telecabine to access the heart of the ski area and nursery slopes and also right in the centre of the resort. There is an indoor pool, sauna and jacuzzi and a nice in house bar and terrace to enjoy their great tapas. They even have a rental shop in the hotel for complete convenience. Equally ideal for weekend groups and family holidays with a good selection of room types. It is one of the resorts less attractive large concrete edifices but you will forget this once you are inside experiencing the warm hospitality and convenience of the location.
