A real family-run hotel where you will be welcomed by Tiziana who owns the hotel with Franco, who also happens to be the mayor of Madesimo. Just 150m from the nursery slopes, there's also an indoor swimming pool and spa with jacuzzi, turkish and roman steam baths and sauna (shared with the Sport Hotel next door). Great half board dining option.

The Sport Hotel is run by a lovely couple – Stafano and Rafaella - who share a passion for looking after their guests in a boutique environment. Eight bedrooms sit above Michelin-starred restaurant Il Cantinone, in a quiet location only a few minutes from the ski slopes. Two great family rooms, with bunk beds or a mezzanine level.

A family-focused hotel, the Boscone offers a crèche with daily entertainment, a games room, an enclosed outside courtyard and rooms with kitchen corners. A free shuttle service is available for guests that wish to avoid the 15-minute walk into the centre, whilst the Lago Azzuro slope is minutes away. The hotel also has its own ski hire shop and spa with sauna and Turkish bath. For families with younger children, babysitters can be booked at 12€ an hour and light menu lunches are also available on request.
