Managing Director & Founder
My passion for skiing has shaped my career, my life and my work. At the ripe old age of 8, my father would drop me off and leave me with a ski instructor all day at a local ski hill outside Tehran with a sandwich stuffed in my pockets and then pick me at the end of the day. And that’s where it all started. Since then I’ve skied extensively in Europe and North America as well as to many lesser-known ski destinations worldwide. I founded Momentum Ski with a single vision – to enable everyone to enjoy the whole alpine experience as much as I have with the help of my knowledge and experience, and in doing so guaranteeing you the trip of a lifetime.
Director - Corporate Sales & Events
Dynamic sister of Amin. Beside looking after Momentum’s Finances, she also looks after corporate clients and events. Dina’s hobbies include travelling and sports as well as keeping an eye on Amin. Her favourite resorts include Courmayeur, Megève, Madonna di Campiglio and Courchevel.
Director - Corporate Sales & Events
Ben divides his time between overseeing the tailor-made sales team, organising weekend trips for our corporate clients and managing our larger events in resort. Any spare time he has beyond his young family is devoted to surfing, kitesurfing and wingfoiling in his beloved Witterings and around the world. His favourite resorts are Courmayeur, Madesimo and Zermatt (and anywhere with wind and waves).
Senior Events and Marketing Manager
Ex Eurokid, half French, half English and born in Italy, Jess first worked for Amin in Courmayeur when she finished university studying veterinary medicine. From there, many years around the world directing Olympic Games and other global events, before returning to the fold and joining Momentum Ski to work on major events and marketing. Loves mountains, dogs, foxes, reading, singing, the crazy world of events and English humour.
Events & Marketing Manager
As a former alpine ski-racer, Heidi has skied in more European resorts than she can count, with her favourites being Meribel and Schladming. After a number of years working in PR and events for major consumer brands, she decided to return to her passion of skiing and join the Momentum team, working on our larger corporate groups, events & marketing. Away from the slopes, Heidi’s other hobbies include reading, playing tennis and drinking coffee at her husband’s coffee shop!
Senior International Sales Consultant
Darcy’s love of skiing began at an early age through numerous family ski holidays in resorts across France, Switzerland and Austria. After a winter season after university in Val d’Isere, she decided to follow her passion and pursue a career in the ski industry and looks forward to speaking to you and tailor-making your ski break!
International Sales Consultant
Ned is the newest member of the team. He has been skiing since the age of four mainly in the Portes du Soleil. He completed one ski season in Val d’Isere after school followed by 3 years at university. This three year gap out of the ski industry was far too long for Ned, hence his move to Momentum Ski. Apart from skiing, he is a huge fan of cricket, which takes up a large part of his time during the Summer.
International Sales Consultant
Aftersales Coordinator
Courmayeur Guru & Resort Coordinator
Chris is a local who left the U.K. for Courmayeur back in 1988 to “do a ski season to get it out of my system” and just couldn’t leave! If that’s not a good reason to visit Courmayeur, then what is? She’s been taking care of visitors to the resort ever since. A very keen skier, both downhill and cross-country, Chris has lots of hands-on experience of the area and neighbouring resorts and endless local contacts to ensure things happen when needed and our valued guests get the best out of this very special alpine destination. Catch her in the Bar Roma for a chat and a Spritz at apres ski time!
Event Coordinator
Momentum’s go-to man for operations in the Alps. JD brings huge experience and great knowledge of the Alps to our events team. NBC poached him to work on both the London Olympics and the Winter Olympics in Sochi, but his true calling is managing the Momentum Ski giant slalom start gate at our racing events. He’s a sandwich aficionado, so just make sure he has a good stash in his pocket!
Event Coordinator
Karen started as a Ski West chalet girl, before working as a Bladon lines rep, where she first came across Amin Momen who introduced Karen to her husband, an Italian, leading to her spending almost 20 years in Courmayeur, raising their two boys and working on Momentum Events before moving to the UK in 2014. Karen has continued to be a key member of the Momentum Events team but her real job is working for the 111 service.
Event Coordinator
As a chalet girl who never went home Rachel has lived in Italy longer than in the UK. She splits her time between Courmayeur, UK and Sicily, where she produces olive oil from her own trees. Food has been one the main attractions of living in Italy to the point that I spent a year studying for a Masters degree in Food Culture and Communications at University of Gastronomic Sciences founded by Carlo Petrini, the President of the Slow Food Movement. Winters are spent in Courmayeur in the Alps where Rachel is always ready to join the Momentum team whatever they are up to.
Event Coordinator
Charlie is always escaping to the fresh air and stunning scenery of the mountains; he started skiing late by Momentum standards but still loves to be the first up the mountain to carve up the powder. When he’s not on the slopes, he’s in the kitchen rustling up a new dish for his fledgling YouTube channel ‘The Gourmet Pantry’. His ‘real’ job is managing a commercial property portfolio in Sussex, but he loves nothing more than spending his holiday helping out at Momentum.
Event Coordinator
Poppy is a real world traveller having lived in Hong Kong, Singapore, Argentina and London. As happy on stage as she is on the slopes Poppy has starred in many amateur productions including the leads in Evita and My Fair Lady. She is also a great musician playing a number of instruments including the Trumpet. She works in London in Marketing but makes time for Momentum whenever she is needed.
