A well located hotel, just 150 metres from the ski-boot room to the Larici gondola. In keeping with it’s original character, what it lacks in 4* modern standards is makes up for in charm! It’s owner-run by Carlo and his family.
Guests return year-after-year for the service, by all accounts for the lively Italian atmosphere, good standards of plentiful regional and international food, and friendly staff. The Emet has good communal space, opposite the reception and up a level is a lounge / reading room with a selection of games and cards for all.
On a sunny day, open the patio doors from here, and walk out onto a large terrace over looking the pedestrianized street, a good spot-for sinking into a sun chair with an aperitif, gazing up to the stunning mountains! Downstairs, there’s a games room for children. The superior rooms have a small sitting are and are very slightly newer.
A good tip: The balcony rooms have fantastic views across to the mountains. It’s a traditional Italian hotel so showers are the norm, there are 8 rooms with baths so be sure make a request for one if you feel a soak at the end of the day is a necessity!
For ultimate relaxation, guests are always welcome to pay and book into the spa at the 3* Hotel Meridiana, it’s just before the Larici gondola, so no distance from the Emet and well worth a visit. It’s advisable to pre-book maybe just a day in advance.
